- Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Belgian Congo”): Uelle Dist., Koloka, nr Angu, vi.1911 (Schubotz).
- Type-depository: Zoological Museum Hamburg (Stitz, 1916: 371).
- [Note: Hamburg zoological museum was destroyed in World War II; but holotype may perhaps be in MNHU or ZMUH.]
